Jordell started his career working for Chicago Public schools. While working there he also was presented with the chance to be an audio technician at Vernon Park Church of God, which he still does to this day.
After 6 incredible years at Chicago Public schools working as a Clerical Assistant, he felt that it was time for a change.
In search for “what’s next”, he decided to study culinary art at Le Cordon Bleu Chicago, where he received an Associates of Occupational Studies for Culinary Arts. That led to a brief stint cooking at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN. Although the experience there was phenomenal, a better opportunity arose in the form of a sales job at Best Buy. There, he discovered his love for selling and working with the public.
Born and raised in Chicago, Jordell moved to Hammond in 2012 after he and his lovely wife were married. They soon moved to Schererville, IN, and finally settled down in Merrillville, IN with all the space needed for their growing family.
Jordell’s love for real estate began in 2013 when he and his wife were searching for their first home. The search was postponed but his interest in real estate grew. Two houses and two rental properties later, his eye for design and detail is only complemented by his ability to see the possibilities. This passion for real estate led him to start working with the Nicole Hanson Group at Advanced Real Estate.
